Anonymous phone call to CPS alleging that my children are naked and unsupervised. When pressed the social worker finally admitted that it was that they didn't wear shoes in the winter. (I live in San Diego, and grew up in Alberta. My response, "What winter?") The investigation was closed, labeled inconclusive, no charges were filed, but the really shitty part was that it cost my husband a job with the police department because it happened right in the middle of his back ground investigation. And the social worker reported that we were evasive in answering her questions. I'm so sorry this happened to you. We had this happen early this year.
