This is my first time reading your blog, and I will be back. Hilarious! Poor kitty, poor you when the little ones arrive. Same thing happened with my brothers dog that he took in as a stray, she had one litter, he was able to give them away, 9 puppies. He kept putting off getting her fixed, and on New Years Day, 17 puppies blessed his day. They did loose one, but the others are very healthy. Anyone want a puppy??

BTW – even if your cat has been, ahem, exposed to a male she can still be spayed at the Spay & Neuter clinic.
*for anyone just now catching their breath about to squawl about kitty abortion…. puh-lease.

Look in the Edmonton yellow pages for “The Spay & Neuter Clinic”. The cost to spay a horny cat is $90 – substantially less than at your local veterinarian. The clinic is right downtown, will alter even very young pets, and the service is great. You will bring in the cat by 8am and pick her up the same day by 6pm. I used to be involved with pet rescue & have had plenty of first hand experience with this place – highly recommended!!
As old bob Barker used to say, “Help control the animal population, spay & neuter your pets.”
