My husband has one rule about my blogging our life.
Keep him off the internets.
Today, on our 13th wedding anniversary, I’m doing what I so often do. I’m disobeying him.
(In my defense, I was smart enough to make sure the word ‘obey’ appeared exactly no where in our wedding vows. I am many things, but obedient isn’t one of them.)
I want the world to see the man I married and to know how absolutely proud I am that I chose him.
And I want everyone to know how ridiculously grateful I am that you have kept me.
To the man I love more than words can adequately express, happy anniversary.

dude my blog was like 10 days old when I wrote about my husband and his camera in the butt appointment. So yeah. I have some sort of rules I don’t follow now too. whatever, cheesecake is an effective bribery tool if you want me to lay off you. Were there vows at our wedding? I think deep, deep down your husband appreciates you blogging about him and showing him off to the world. Funny, I write about my kids, pets, menopause, girlfriends, and the other day my husband, David, said, “When are you going to write about me?” I thought he was kidding but because of your post I’m going to test it out.
